Lost and Wanted by Nell Freudenberger
Updated: Feb 14, 2020

Summary: Astrophysicist, Helen Clapp, has started to receive texts from her best friend, which wouldn't be weird except that she just died. Now Helen is finding herself questioning her relationships more than physical properties of the universe.

Review: Lost and Wanted had me left wanting. It was definitely not what I had expected.
As a Sci-Fi nut, I was excitedly expecting the convergence of astrophysics and dimensional theory with the paranormal ghost of Helen's best friend. Instead, it was more of a feel-good story about reconnecting and building friendships that just so happened to have some science sprinkled in. For me, it was a slow read that felt flatter than a dimensional plane. This could be biased by my disappointment, though.
