I'm Judging You by Luvvie Ajayi

Updated: Feb 14, 2020

Summary: Luvvie Ajayi is a hilarious comedian with an interesting take on the world. In this book, she gives her advice on how to not be a crappy human.

Review: I actually read this book a while ago, but I reference it all the time. Luvvie is hilarious and thought-provoking as she delves into some of humanity's biggest screw-ups from racism and homophobia to being a bad friend and sex tapes.

While reading this, I found myself actually laughing out loud and yelling "Amen" into the pages (something I have, surprisingly, never done before). I also found myself hmming and questioning things I had never considered before.

Luvvie has a remarkable way of making difficult subjects digestible by using humor. She makes swallowing the pill of how much we suck as humans just a little easier to swallow along with giving advice on how to do better.
